Skipper Butterfly
Do you know what we learned recently? Some scientists consider skipper species different from both moths and butterflies. Many species of skipper butterflies are common in gardens across North America. They are small insects that flit from flower to flower. Skippers, butterflies, and moths are all members of the Order Lepidoptera. These insects start their lives as caterpillars, go through a metamorphosis, and emerge from cocoons with wings.
