Blue-Eyed Grass

Even though the name says grass, these little blue-eyes are members of the iris family of flowers. These angiosperms can be found in fields and open their flowers in the afternoon. Honeybees love to visit these flowers for the nectar. Their scientific name is Sisyrinchium montanum.
