Biology4Kids Quiz: Plants

All of those terms are used to describe different features of plants. An antheridium is a structure that produces eggs cells used in sexual reproduction. Xylem is a type of vascular tissue that is used to transport minerals and water from the roots to the rest of the plant. Dicotyledon is used to describe seeds with two seed leaves/coats. Lima beans are a good example of dicotyledon seeds. Corm is a good example of a monocotyledon seeds with only one seed leaf/coat.
