  Video: Showing how Epidemics Spread

Video Summary:
A classroom in Florida works with the treehouse detectives on developing an experiment that shows how infectious diseases spread as epidemics. By using test tubes filled with water and ammonia, the class was able to track the spread of an imaginary disease. They use eyedroppers to exchange four drops of fluid with four other people. This drop exchange simulates an exchange of body fluids that might happen when eating or drinking with another person. By recording their observations, the classroom was able to track the source of the disease to the student that held the first test tube of vinegar.
