  Video: Data Collection and Variables

Video Summary:
NASA engineer, Ms. Barnes, takes the kids on a tour of NASA's flying laboratory. The Boeing 757 is designed to test takeoff, flight, and landing conditions in poor weather. There are computers and cameras on the plane that observe the reactions of the plane in different conditions. Those data are then collected and analyzed. When the tests are done, NASA reports its findings and offers suggestions to create safer air travel for everyone.
