Biology4Kids Quiz: Amphibians

While both amphibians and reptiles lay eggs, they are very different types of eggs. Amphibians lay their eggs in the water and the eggs have very delicate structures. They are more like fish eggs than reptile eggs. Reptiles lay eggs that are leathery and can survive on land. Birds lay eggs with a hard shell. There are even some mammals that lay eggs (but not many).
